My home town.

I was born and raised in Orting. The picture above is of the Carbon River and Mount Rainier. The shot was taken behind the property where I grew up. Of course, I didn't realize until I was older how privildeged I was to be raised in such a beautiful spot on a wonderful piece of land. I rarely watched TV or played inside: I had fifteen acres of playground! (Come to think of it, I also loved to read which is a good thing as this area gets a fair share of rain! Lately we've been getting an unfair share of it...hope the weather forecast is correct and we get some sun!!)
