This is for the people who have been harassing me about not updating my blog. I can't say I'll do better, but this will give you something new to look at when you pass my way!
This is a box full of puppies. We chose our sweet Lily from this box and she is almost a year old now...and pregnant. Some neighborhood ruffian snuck under our fence while she was in her first heat. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow to make sure. If anyone wants an adorable puppy, let me know! Lily is a Golden Retriever. The dad, I don't know. I've tried to follow him home, but he is quite evasive...and doesn't seem interested in coming around anymore. (Sounds like some men in our country.) He is large, with long black hair so the puppies should be cute!

Orting Floods!

This is a picture Brian took yesterday morning behind our house. The water was within feet of breaching the dike. Up the river about a quarter of a mile the county was working into late last night reinforcing the dike. Thank goodness the rain stopped and their work paid off....or our basement would be in water.

Girls' night out!!
Poor Walt was the photographer...he was very sweet about having us all over, but I wonder how much sleep he got!My sister Boni was in town the week of the Dinner Show. We were able to squeeze many events into that weekend. We all attended a memorial service for our dear friend Gigi on Friday night, Dinner Show on Saturday night, followed by a "Sister Overnighter" at Sandee's. All eight of us sisters were there and our most amazing sister-in-law Sherry as well. We are going to have to make this an annual event: It was so fun! I have the best sisters in the world. As a matter of fact, I think I may just have the best family in the world....and we all seemed to have married pretty special people as well. (Some more than once!!)
Dinner Show
Our annual Dinner Show is a fundraiser we started about ten years ago. It is one of two events we host each year that showcase the wonderful talent in our community! Here are a few photos of the evening.
This is my Concert Choir: It is a huge group...almost to big to meet in my small classroom! But they are a lot of fun and doing a great job!
Here are a few on my family members watching the show.
Ona-Lysa and the Band...great group!

Hawaii Trip
Donald and Rebekah: They'll stay in Hawaii for now! We tried to get Donald to fall in love with Washington. We'll see if it worked.
Our beach behind our house.
My nephew David at the beach. Me and about 29 others made the trip to Oahu to attend the wedding for my beautiful niece Rebekah and her sweet man, Donald. The wedding was wonderful and we all had a great time. There were five of us sisters there and we had our Mom along to keep us in line. Ten of us rented a four bed room house with beach access and a nice yard. I'm not going into detail other than pictures. What more can be said: It was Hawaii and there was a wedding. Pretty close to heaven in my book!

I'm back.......
It's been over two months since I edited this blog!! A particular friend has threatened me if I don't post something soon, so she'll be glad to see this!
Life has been busy to the point of frantic! A week ago today was the last day of school, so the crazy part of life came to a screeching halt. Since then I've weeded every garden on our property...much to the relief of neighbors, I'm sure!

Here's some of what I've been up to!
Brian, Kaitee, and I hiked up to Green Lake above the Ipsut Creek entrance to Mt. Rainier. It was a beautiful hike, but Kaitee and I were VERY tired!!
This is my 2006 Select Choir at Contest. They have been an amazing group. They blended so nicely...and I was able to do a capella numbers and they ended in the same key they started in!! They also got along wonderfully, and I truly believe this is the key to a great group.
This is my neice and Goddaughter Chelsea's Middle School Graduation night. She's growing up so fast! I'm so proud of her.
